Last Day of Textures II is this Tuesday

Tuesday is the final day of class for the Textures II course at the Leland Cultural Arts Center.  The entire class enrolled 6 weeks ago as they were finishing the 6-week long Textures I class.  In Textures II, we covered the rendering of glass, gold, leather, brick, plaid cloth, and wood.   I hope everyone learned a lot and will incorporate these techniques in to beautiful works of art.  I enjoyed meeting these ladies every Tuesday morning for the last 12 weeks. I am excited to hear that they are all planning to enroll in the “Evolving Innovatons” course planned for the Fall at the Cameron Museum of Art.  All of these ladies have become excellent colored pencil artist through their skills and hard work and I am very proud of them.  And…. I will miss them for the next 10 weeks.   For those newbies that are interesting, we have an introductory workshop scheduled for 21 July at LCAC.  It’s a one day (6 hour) event on a Saturday….where we introduce colored pencils to beginners.  Contact Us for additional information.
